Il progetto LA CITTÀ MEDIEVALE. LA CITTÀ DEI FRATI , finanziato dalla 2018 AISU Networking Call for Proposal e dal progetto Medieval Heritage Platform (Politecnico di Torino DIST), è stato pensato per riprendere gli studi sul rapporto tra conventi degli ordini mendicanti (in particolare Predicatori e Minori) e città nel quadro italiano ed europeo. Nodo fondamentale è il confronto tra le discipline e il rinnovamento metodologico, tramite l’integrazione tra le tradizionali analisi documentarie e materiali con tecniche di analisi stratigrafiche e di digital history.

CFP of the session “New Perspectives on Female Convent Heritage", XIV International Conference on the History of Spain
We are pleased to share a CFP for the session “New Perspectives on Female Convent Heritage: Histories, Functionalities, and Representations from a Contemporary Viewpoint” (panel 17), which will take place during the XIV International Conference on the History of Spain, to be held from September 2 to 4 in a digital format.
We emphasize that, although the overall theme of the meeting focuses on the Hispanic world, our session broadens its scope to the territorial configuration of the Iberian Union, thus inclusively considering all associated continental spaces, as outlined in the attached CFP document.
We also clarify that, although proposals must be submitted in Spanish, presentations may be delivered in Portuguese or English.
The submission deadline is May 31, 2026.
